I'm thankful for you!
Happy Thanksgiving, CE readers
I just wanted to drop into your inbox on this day of thanks, and say thanks.
This project is still my “side gig,” but I love finding the time throughout my busy week to write about climate change, urbanism, mosquitos, or whatever else I’m reading and thinking about at the time. And while Complex Effects is a free newsletter, 10 of you have been generous enough to opt in for the paid subscription that grants you access to the comment section. My goal is to, someday, write full-time, and every paid subscription gets me a step closer to that dream.
To celebrate Black Friday, and the growing following Complex Effects has enjoyed, I’m discounting your ability to support this side gig of mine. Whether you donate or not, I’m thankful for your continued support of Complex Effects.
I hope you have a great day with family and friends, and eat as much turkey as your heart desires. For me, it’ll be Tofurky.
Tomorrow, we’re getting back into our regular schedule with an 8-minute read about hydrogen - the alternative fuel that’s stuffed with potential. ;)
Thank you so much for reading Complex Effects, and Happy Thanksgiving!
And for no reason other than I needed a thumbnail for this post, here’s an AI-generated drawing of a turkey opting for sustainable transportation:
